XII BCES Conference Nessebar 2014

“Dear Colleagues, It is my pleasure to invite you to attend the XII Annual International Conference of the Bulgarian Comparative Education Society (BCES). The Conference will be held in Nessebar, Bulgaria, 15 - 20 June 2014. Nessebar is a beautiful ancient town at the Black Sea Coast, located 40 km from the city of Burgas. The Conference opening is in Sofia on 15 June 2014. We organize bus transportation from Sofia to Nessebar on 16 June. The Conference sessions are on 17, 18 and 19 June, and the back trip to Sofia is on 20 June. The Conference theme is: Education’s Role in Preparing Globally Competent Citizens. This is also to invite you to submit a paper that will be included in the BCES Conference Book, Vol. 12, 2014. As always, the Conference Book will be published before the beginning of the Conference. The Conference has four thematic sections: 1. Comparative Education & History of Education; 2. Pre-service and In-service Teacher Training & Learning and Teaching Styles; 3. Education Policy, Reforms and School Leadership; 4. Higher Education, Lifelong Learning and Social Inclusion. Some added features are: 1) Continuous Professional Development Workshop: Academic Entrepreneurship: how to use your skills and knowledge for personal and university gain; 2) New Journal: International Journal of Multidisciplinary Comparative Studies.
